Soon after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) decided to cancel its Class 10 board exams and postpone Class 12 board exams, many states including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan also announced the postponement of their state board exams considering the alarming surge in COVID-19 cases. States like West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh are monitoring the situation as of now. Depending on the COVID situation, the state will decide whether to go ahead with the board exams. The Goa government too has not yet announced the cancellation of Goa Classes 10 and 12 board exams.

Karnataka and Meghalaya said they will conduct the exams as scheduled. Andhra Pradesh Government too will hold the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2021 as per schedule.
As of now, no decision on Gujarat (GSEB) board exam cancellation has been taken yet. Similarly, an announcement on Punjab Board Exam 2021 Class 10 is awaited. Many students from Maharashtra are continuously asking if ‘SSC board exam 2021 cancelled or not’, but the state hasn’t announced its decision yet. The Maharashtra government will discuss the CBSE’s move of cancelling its Class 10 exam and it will take any decision for the state education board exams, minister Varsha Gaikwad said.
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) said that it will soon decide on conducting ICSE and ISE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. “We are reviewing the situation and will soon take a decision in this regard,” CICSE Chief Executive and Secretary Gerry Arathoon said.

Maharashtra University Of Health Sciences Postpones Exams For Medical Students
