    Nearly 58% voter turnout recorded in UP so far

    According to the latest trends of the Election Commission, a voter turnout of 57.79% has been recorded in Uttar Pradesh till now.

    Here is the turnout recorded in the 11 districts:

    Aligarh- 57.25%

    Agra- 56.52%

    Baghpat- 61.25%

    Bulandshahr- 60.57%

    GB Nagar- 53.48%

    Ghaziabad- 52.43%

    Hapur- 60.53%

    Mathura- 58.12%

    Meerut- 58.23%

    Muzaffarnagar- 62.09%

    Shamli- 61.75%

    Nearly 8% voter turnout by 9am in 58 seats of west UP

    Despite cold day conditions and foggy weather in western Uttar Pradesh, the voter turnout remained over 8% in most of the Uttar Pradesh districts. The polling percentage in Agra and Mathura was 8.1% and 8.4%, respectively.
